// The challenge

In March 2025, the boutique received 1,768 store visits but generated just 18 online orders.

// The opportunity

The opportunity wasn't just attracting more traffic. It was getting the right shoppers to the store and understanding what actually drove purchases.

// What we did

Made for the Feed. Found on Google.

  1. 01// Meta creativeWe Made Ads for the Feed.

    We stopped leading with collection names and led with cute product: prints, bright colors and matching sets. On Meta, the ad has to stop the scroll first.

  2. 02// Product focusWe Put Girls' Styles Up Front.

    Girls' styles outsold boys' about 9 to 1 over the year, so the ads followed what people were buying.

  3. 03// Google Search & ShoppingWe Helped Shoppers Find the Store.

    We worked on Google Search and Shopping visibility to reach people already looking for the boutique's products. Average organic search position improved from 34 to 8 between June 2025 and September 2026.

// The work

Made to Stop the Scroll.

On Meta, nobody is searching for a romper. Cute product did the selling: prints, bright colors and matching sets. Product details mattered less than we expected.

#1Google Ads search for sales: the brand's own name
// Meta and Google

Meta Made Them Look. Google Caught the Search.

The search that brought in the most Google Ads sales was the brand's own name: 16 sales from 429 clicks. Those shoppers already knew Remi & Capri before they searched.

// In her words

In October of 2025, I called a local advertising company… and within just 30 days, we were already seeing results.

Now it's August of 2026, just shy of a year later, and our sales, followers & reach have increased by 300%.

It's All About Selling in the Feed.

What a year of Meta ads for a kids' boutique taught us.

We love a challenge

When Remi & Capri came to us, each sale from Meta ads was costing more than twice what it did in our first 11 months. Our answer wasn’t a bigger budget. We spent less than half as much each month, and Meta brought in slightly more sales each month.

Stop the scroll, then sell

Nobody opens Instagram to shop for a romper. The ad has to grab attention first and make someone want it second. Product details came last. Most of the time, what grabbed attention was bright color.

Color or print

The pink lounge set was one of our best ads of the year. Then the farm sleeper beat it, on a plain white background with no text. What they share: you notice them. One is bright. One is a busy, happy print. Plain and muted is what struggles.

Girls’ styles outsold boys’ about 9 to 1. Our theory: boys’ clothes usually come in quieter colors, so they’re harder to notice in the feed.

Bright color or a great print. The feed doesn’t reward quiet.

Give Meta options

We test new prints every week. In our first year, that added up to 119 different ads. Which one wins changes from day to day, depending on who Meta is showing ads to. So we give it plenty of good options and let the sales show us what to push.

Meta moves. We stay on it.

Results swing. In February, a sale cost about three times what it did in January. That’s why we watch the account closely, and why creative still needs a human touch. A tool can resize an image. It can’t tell you the farm print is going to be the one.
